Vegetable: Zucchini with Mr. Walleye

Zucchini cooked with Mr. Walleye Breading and Batter Mix

Equipment

  • 1 Deep Fry Pan optional
  • 1 Pan Fry optional
  • 1 Air Fryer optional

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Zucchini Sliced, Cubed or diagonal cut
  • 1/2-2/3 cup Mr. Walleye Breading Mix
  • Oil Deep enough for kettle

Instructions

  • Place Zucchini in buttermilk (best) or water
  • Dip and Shake the zucchini in Mr. Walleye Breading Mix
  • Place each piece on a tray
  • Add to Hot Oil until crispy browned
  • Remove from oil single layer on a tray

Air Fryer

  • Spray with oil after each piece has been dipped in Mr. Walleye breading before placing in air fryer.
  • 1/2 way through, take out and spray oil again - continue cooking
    • Zucchini has a lot of water in it. The technique is delicious and appreciated with this vegetable choice - does not however get super crispy.

Notes

After cooked....Top with:
Pizza Sauce & Mozzarella.  Place under broiler for a few minutes to melt.
Tuna, Salmon, Fish
Your favorite cheese.  Place under broiler for a few minutes to melt.
Pepperoni, Salami, ham slice - add cheese - place under broiler a few minutes to heat up.
